GRE Fee Reduction Request

Use the form below to request a reduction of your GRE exam fee. If you meet the eligibility requirements, your GRE fee reduction certificate will be mailed to you within five to seven business days. Your fee waiver certificate materials and registration form(s) must then be sent together to GRE in the envelope provided with the GRE Information and Registration Bulletin. The bulletin is available from Instructional Assessment and Evaluation, formerly the Measurement and Evaluation Center.

The exact amount of the reduction is determined by Educational Testing Services (ETS), the administrators of the GRE. It is generally 50 percent of the full test fee, but may vary depending on the tests you take.
