Financial Aid Counseling
Our lobby is open every weekday except for University holidays. Counselors are available to answer questions and provide general financial aid information on a walk-in basis. Appointments with assigned counselors can be made, if necessary.
Students can submit required documents, appeal forms, private scholarship checks, etc. in the drop box located outside our lobby doors. Please be sure the student's UT EID is on each submitted document.

During normal business hours, financial aid counselors work the front counter, answer phones, and respond to emails. You may contact these staff members with any financial aid-related question. Most questions can be easily or quickly resolved by a counselor on duty, but if your situation warrents it, a sit-down appointment with a counselor may also be scheduled. There are a few exceptions:
- During registration periods, appointments are only accepted on a walk-in basis.
- If an appeal has been submitted for consideration, no appointments can be set until the review process has been completed.
