If you request and are offered the College Access Loan (CAL), you will be sent an e-mail directing you to the Hinson-Hazlewood Loans (HHL) Online web site to complete the CAL Application and Promissory Note. The HHLoans Online web site is administered by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB), the lender and servicer for the College Access Loan (CAL) Program. There, you will find information about various state and federal financial aid programs administered by THECB, along with repayment information for each THECB-administered loan you borrow.

To apply for the CAL Loan, click the HHLoans Online link and follow the prompts for the College Access Loan (CAL) Program. You will be required to register (create a Login ID) before completing the Application and Promissory Note. Be sure to print and mail the completed form to the address indicated. This process will need to be repeated each year that you borrow a College Access Loan (CAL).
