Effect on Financial Aid
All scholarships are considered part of your financial aid package and must be reported to the Office of Financial Aid (OFA).
Federal regulations require that OFA take into account all resources available to a student when determining eligibility for financial aid awards.
If revisions to your financial aid package are necessary, OFA will reduce loans and work-study awards before reducing grants, unless federal regulations require us to do otherwise.
For information on how to report a scholarship to OFA, please see Receiving Your Private Scholarships.
