Prepaid tuition plans allow families to prepay future college tuition and required fees at current rates. These college savings plans are normally guaranteed to increase in value at the same rate as college tuition. Families often find that investing in prepaid tuition plans is a safe, affordable and tax-exempt way to fund their children's education. The most common prepaid tuition plan used at UT-Austin is the Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan (formerly the Texas Tomorrow Fund).
