According to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, state funding is not sufficient to fund loans for new B-On-Time (BOT) students for the 2007-2008 academic year.

The University of Texas at Austin offered BOT loans on a conditional basis to new students for the upcoming academic year. Unfortunately, due to the funding situation described above, the BOT loan is not available to them for the coming academic year.

We are in the process informing and revising awards for affected students.
