What happens to my Financial Aid?
All student funds (such as grants, loans, and most scholarships) come through the Office of Student Financial Services. That money is then made available to the Office of Accounting where they pay any outstanding debt (usually tuition & fee bills or housing payments) you may have. Any remaining funds are directly deposited into your bank account (if you've already designated a bank) or they are mailed to you at one of the two addresses you have on file with the University. Initial University checks are mailed to your permanent address and subsequent mailings go to your local address.
To designate a bank for direct deposit, go to My Bank Information on UT Direct. To update your address, go to the UT Direct Address Change page.

Where can I check to see if I did what I need to do?
