The Office of Student Financial Services (OSFS) will begin processing financial aid funds, for the Fall 2008 semester, on Tuesday, August 19th. OSFS will continue to process financial aid every weeknight throughout the semester.

Exception: Fall 2008 funds for any student enrolled in Summer 2008 classes will be held until after Summer grades are processed on Friday, August 22nd.

Outstanding University debt is paid first. Remaining funds, if any, are then released to the student. If you have already designated a banking institution for direct deposit, we will initiate an ACH transaction to deposit the remaining funds directly into your bank account. If you haven't designated a bank yet, do it today! Don't delay! Otherwise, you will have to wait for a paper check to be printed, processed and sent via regular mail.

While the majority of students receive their financial aid prior to the start of classes, some students don't receive theirs because they haven't completed all their outstanding requirements. Students are notified via e-mail to complete requirements, such as financial aid notifications and loan counseling. It is, therefore, imperative that you keep all your addresses up-to-date.
