Paying Your Spring 2009 Tuition Bill with Financial Aid
The most common question The Office of Student Financial Services receives shortly after
tuition and fee bills are created is, "How can I pay my tuition bill with financial aid
if I do not receive my financial aid until after the fee bill is due?"
The solution is simple. You can secure payment of your tuition and fee bill on-line at
My Tuition
Bill on UT Direct.
My financial aid should be sufficient to pay my bill!
If you have enough financial aid to cover your entire tuition bill, you will see a
"Pay with Financial Aid" button at the top of your My Tuition
Bill page on UT Direct. After choosing this option, the message
*** Your registration is complete *** will appear at
the top of the page. Please keep in mind that you will continue to see a current balance
due on your tuition bill until financial aid funds are distributed in mid- to late-January.
Note: If you are using financial aid as a payment option, do not use the "EFT" option
as financial aid funds will not be in your account until January.
I don't have any (or enough) financial aid to pay my bill!
If your tuition and fee bill is not completely covered by financial aid, or you are not
receiving financial aid, you may make a payment at My Tuition Bill
on UT Direct.
I need to verify that my classes won't be dropped!
Visit My
Tuition Bill on UT Direct. If the message *** Your
registration is complete *** appears at the top of the page, your
classes are secure.
