I don't have enough financial aid to pay my tuition bill!
- If you do not have enough financial aid to pay your entire tuition bill, you will not have a Pay with Financial Aid button.
- On My Tuition Bill, any applicable financial aid is deducted from your tuition bill on the Less Anticipated Financial Aid line.
- You are responsible for paying the remaining amount not covered by financial aid in one of the following ways:
- Out of Pocket (Installment/Credit Card/EFT)
- Payment can be arranged on the What I Owe page.
- Tuition Loans
- To be eligible, you must not have any financial bars, must have a local address on file and must be registered at least 6 hours. Non-resident tuition loans are available for 50% of the amount due.
- Once this remaining amount is paid, the Pay with Financial Aid button should appear for you to finish securing your classes.*
I'm not registered in all of my classes yet. How do I apply my financial aid to my tuition bill?
- If you are not enrolled in at least 6 hours
you will not be able to:
- Pay your tuition bill with financial aid (most aid programs
require at least 6 hours enrollment under law);
OR - Take out a tuition loan online.
- If you plan to add classes up to or above 6 hours, please contact our office to discuss a less than half-time tuition loan. You must be available to sign the promissory note for this loan in person.
- Pay your tuition bill with financial aid (most aid programs
require at least 6 hours enrollment under law);
- If you are enrolled in 6 hours or more:
- Your financial aid will be held, but *NOT* cancelled or reduced during this period. Our office assumes a less than full time student will be adding classes unless informed otherwise.
- If you have enough financial aid to pay your tuition bill, the Pay with Financial Aid button will be appear for you to secure your classes .*
How can I be sure my classes won't be dropped?
Visit My Tuition Bill

**Your registration is complete

I added a class and now I have another tuition bill. What do I do?
If you add/drop classes after your financial aid releases, you are responsible
for paying the add bill using your financial aid funds.
*Please keep in mind only certain grants, scholarships
(if OSFS has received the donor's check), and loans (Direct, Perkins, approved
Parent PLUS, approved Graduate PLUS, and BOT) are available for deferment of a
tuition bill (i.e. clicking the Pay with Financial Aid
button). If you were only recently awarded, your loans may not have matured in
our computer system to the point necessary for deferment. Initial disbursements
of alternative/private and CAL loans cannot be
used to defer.
