The 2020-21 Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, form is now available. Submitting a FAFSA form is required if you are interested in applying for need-based financial aid, including grants, loans and some scholarships. The FAFSA is also required for students to receive Texas Advance Commitment funding.
To ensure our office receives your FAFSA information, list UT Austin (school code 003658) as the school you want to receive your FAFSA information.
The FAFSA form can be completed online at fafsa.gov or on the myStudentAid mobile app, available on both Apple and Android devices.
