Reduction in Income Appeal Form Available

The university recognizes that students and their families may be experiencing new or increased financial hardship as a result of COVID-19 (coronavirus). If a student or family member has experienced a recent reduction in income or financial resources and has already completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®), he or she can complete the Reduction in Income Appeal Form  through DocuSign. The Reduction in Income Appeal Form (formerly known as the Special Circumstances Appeal Form) allows the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid to review the student’s financial aid and make any adjustments to their financial aid package given their current situation. Documentation of your current financial situation will be required.

Students may also request a downloadable PDF of the form by sending an email to onestop@utexas.edu, but PDF processing times may be delayed.
