The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid will begin disbursing fall financial aid, including grants and loans, on August 15 and it will continue on a rolling basis. Please note that you must also confirm your attendance on your fall 2023 tuition bill.
Students should check CASH to confirm that financial aid requirements are complete. Once all requirements are met, funds will be disbursed and be applied automatically to outstanding bills, including tuition and on-campus housing bills.
Students who have set up direct deposit should anticipate a refund within 3 to 5 business days. If you do not have direct deposit, a paper check will be mailed to your local address in 1 to 2 weeks. Students can check the status of their refund on MyUT through Where Is My Check?.
For students enrolled in summer 2023, fall financial aid will begin to disburse August 23 after summer grades have been posted and calculated.
